CHAPTER 14:🛡️ AGENTS OF ORDER: OBSERVATION LOG 98‑Θ “WHEN ADAM GLORY WATCHES A GOD BEING BORN”
By: Adam GloryDate: June 6, 2026
Location: ORDER BLACKSITE — OBSERVATION DECK, SUBLEVEL 13
The Observation Deck is silent.
Not the peaceful kind of silence—
the charged kind.
The kind that happens right before lightning strikes.
Adam Glory stands alone at the glass overlooking the Parallax Simulation Chamber.
Arms folded.
Expression unreadable.
Aura sharp enough to cut steel.
Below him, Liger Llama is being carried out of the simulation chamber by Agents L‑1 and L‑2, still half‑conscious, still trembling, still very much a llama who just punched a conceptual god in the face.
Adam watches every second.
Not with concern.
Not with jealousy.
With calculation.
🔥 PART I — THE AGENTS NOTICE
Agent Y is the first to spot him.
She nudges Agent J.
“Hey. Golden Boy’s watching.”
Agent J melts out of the shadows beside her.
“He’s been here since the simulation started.”
Agent I joins them, visor flickering.
“His emotional readings are… unusual.”
Agent Y smirks.
“Unusual how?”
Agent I hesitates.
“Focused.
Intense.
Almost… competitive.”
Agent Y whistles.
“Oh this is gonna be spicy.”
🔥 PART II — ADAM SPEAKS
Adam doesn’t turn around when Agent K approaches.
He just keeps staring at the empty chamber where Liger fought the impossible.
Finally, he speaks.
“…He survived.”
Agent K nods.
“Yes.”
Adam’s jaw tightens.
“He wasn’t supposed to.”
Agent K raises an eyebrow.“
According to who?”
Adam turns his head slightly—just enough to show a faint, dangerous smile.
“According to the Parallax.”
Agent K steps beside him.
“And you care what the Parallax thinks?”
Adam shrugs.
“I care about what it expects.”
🔥 PART III — THE SHIFT
Adam finally turns fully toward Agent K.
His eyes are steady.
Calm.
Too calm.
“Liger is changing.”
Agent K nods.
“He is.”
Adam steps closer to the glass.
“And you’re training him to fight the Parallax.”
Agent K studies him.
“Yes.”
Adam’s smile widens.
“Good.”
Agent J stiffens.
“…Good?”
Adam nods.
“Because I want to see how far he can go.”
Agent Y laughs.
“Oh my god. He’s treating Liger like a rival in an anime.”
Adam ignores her.
🔥 PART IV — THE REAL REASON
Adam places a hand on the glass.
“He fought a simulation of the Parallax.
And he won.”
Agent K nods.
“He did.”
Adam’s voice lowers.
“But that wasn’t the real Parallax.”
Agent I confirms:
“No. The real entity is far stronger.”
Adam’s eyes flicker—just for a moment—with violet light.
“And when the real one comes…
I want to see what Liger does.”
Agent K narrows his eyes.
“You’re not worried about him.”
Adam shakes his head.
“No.
I’m curious.”
Agent Y mutters:
“He’s either gonna be Liger’s best friend or his final boss.”
🔥 PART V — THE MOMENT OF TRUTH
Adam turns away from the glass.
“Tell Liger something for me.”
Agent K folds his arms.
“What?”
Adam pauses at the doorway.
Then says:
“Tell him…
I’m proud of him.”
Agent Y’s jaw drops.
“Wait—WHAT?!”
Adam smirks.
“But also tell him—”
He looks back over his shoulder.
Eyes glowing faintly.
“—that he’s not the only one getting stronger.”
And then he leaves.
The door closes behind him.
Silence.
Agent J exhales.
“…We should probably tell Liger.”
Agent Y shakes her head.
“Oh no.
We’re telling him EXACTLY as Adam said it.
I want to see his face.”
