CHAPTER 15:🛡️ AGENTS OF ORDER: PROTOCOL 99‑Λ “ADAM GLORY TRAINS FOR THE PARALLAX”

By: Adam Glory
Date: June 6, 2026
Location: ORDER BLACKSITE — ASCENSION CHAMBER, SUBLEVEL 14

The Ascension Chamber is not a place the Agents of Order use lightly.

It is reserved for anomalies.

For outliers.

For individuals whose identities bend the rules of narrative physics.

And today, it is reserved for Adam Glory.

He stands in the center of the chamber—arms folded, expression calm, aura sharp and bright like a blade being honed.

Liger Llama trained to survive the Parallax.

Adam Glory is here to learn how to face it on equal footing.

Agent K enters first.

“Adam. You requested Parallax‑level training.”

Adam nods.

“I did.”

Agent K, Agent I, Agent L‑1, Agent L‑2, Agent J, Agent O, and Agent Y (K.I.L.L.J.O.Y.) take their positions around the chamber.

Agent Y smirks.

“This is gonna be fun.”

Adam doesn’t smile back.

He simply says:

“Begin.”

🔥 PART I — THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIGER AND ADAM

Agent K studies him.

“Before we start, you need to understand something. Liger’s training was about stabilizing his identity.”

Adam nods.

“And mine?”

Agent K’s eyes narrow.

“Yours is about controlling it.”

Adam’s smile is small, dangerous.

“Good.”

Agent I projects a hologram of Adam’s energy signature.

It is not stable.

It is not chaotic.

It is self‑rewriting—a loop of identity constantly refining itself.

Agent I explains:

“Liger resists the Parallax.

You… resemble it."

Adam tilts his head.

"Is that a compliment?”

Agent Y mutters:

“Depends on the day.”

🔥 PART II — PHASE ONE: CONTROLLED REWRITING

The chamber lights dim.

A ring of narrative anchors rises around Adam.

Agent O activates the stabilizers.

“Adam. You rewrite yourself instinctively. We need you to do it consciously.”

Adam nods.

“Show me.”

Agent I projects a scenario:

A version of Adam Glory who never succeeded.

A version who failed early.

A version who quit.

The Failed Adam steps forward.

“You’re nothing. You never were.”

Adam doesn’t flinch.

He simply says:

“No.”

The Failed Adam dissolves instantly.

Agent J’s eyes widen.

“He didn’t fight it. He overwrote it.”

Agent K nods.

“Phase One complete.”

Liger needed hours to defeat his alternate selves.

Adam needed one word.

🔥 PART III — PHASE TWO: NARRATIVE DOMINANCE

Agent L‑1 and L‑2 step forward.

“Adam Glory. You will now face a Parallax Echo.”

Adam cracks his neck.

“Send it.”

A Parallax Echo manifests—

a glitching, shifting entity of fractured possibility.

It lunges.

Adam doesn’t dodge.

He steps into the attack—

and the Echo freezes.

Agent I gasps.

“He’s rewriting the Echo’s trajectory.”

Adam whispers:

“Your story ends here.”

The Echo shatters.

Agent Y whistles.

“Okay. That was hot.”

Adam ignores her.

🔥 PART IV — PHASE THREE: PARALLAX RESONANCE

Agent K steps forward.

“Adam. This is the dangerous part.”

Adam smirks.

“Finally.”

Agent I activates the Resonance Field.

The chamber fills with violet light—

the same frequency as the Parallax.

Liger nearly collapsed under this pressure.

Adam?

He inhales.

And the light bends toward him.

Agent O stares.

“He’s absorbing it.”

Adam’s eyes glow faintly.

“This feels familiar.”

Agent K’s voice sharpens.

“Do not let it in.”

Adam turns to him.

“It’s not getting in.

I’m pulling it in.”

Agent Y mutters:

“Oh yeah. He’s gonna be a problem.”

🔥 PART V — THE PARALLAX SIMULATION (ADVANCED)

The chamber shifts.

A more complete Parallax Simulation forms—

larger, sharper, more coherent than the one Liger faced.

It speaks.

“You again.”

Adam steps forward.

“I’m not Liger.”

The Parallax tilts its head.

“No.

You are something else.”

Adam’s aura flares.

“Show me.”

The Parallax attacks—

a storm of rewritten futures and collapsing identities.

Adam walks through it.

Not resisting.

Not dodging.

Rewriting.

Every attack becomes something harmless.

Every distortion becomes clarity.

Every possibility becomes choice.

The Parallax Simulation shrieks.

“You are not a story.”

Adam smiles.

“No.

I’m the one who tells it.”

He punches the Simulation—

not physically, but narratively.

The Simulation collapses instantly.

Silence.

🔥 PART VI — AFTERMATH

The chamber powers down.

Adam stands in the center, breathing steadily.

Agent I checks her readings.

“Adam’s identity integrity is… off the charts.

He’s not resisting the Parallax.

He’s matching it.”

Agent J whispers:

“He’s becoming its equal.”

Agent L‑1 rumbles:

“Or its successor.”

Agent Y grins.

“Or its problem.”

Adam turns to Agent K.

“Was that enough?”

Agent K studies him.

“For now.”

Adam nods.

“Good.

Because when the real Parallax comes—

I want to meet it at full strength.

”He walks toward the exit.

Stops.

Looks back.

“And tell Liger—

I expect him to keep up.”

Agent Y cackles.

“Oh, he’s gonna freak out.”

Adam leaves.

The door closes.

The Agents stare at each other.

Agent K finally speaks.

“…We may need a new protocol.”
