CHAPTER 16: 🛡️ AGENTS OF ORDER: INTERNAL COUNCIL LOG 100‑Β “THE ADAM GLORY QUESTION”

By: Adam Glory
Date: June 6, 2026
Location: ORDER BLACKSITE — STRATEGIC BRIEFING ROOM, SUBLEVEL 6

The Strategic Briefing Room is tense.

Not chaotic.

Not panicked.

Just… tense.

The kind of tension that happens when a team of highly trained interdimensional operatives realizes they may be working with someone who is either:

their greatest weapon,

their greatest threat,

or both at the same time.

Adam Glory has left the Ascension Chamber.

The walls still hum with the aftershock of what he did in there.

Now the Agents of Order gather around the circular table.

Agent K stands at the head.

“Begin internal debate.”

🔥 PART I — AGENT Y OPENS THE FLOOR

Agent Y kicks her boots up on the table.

“Okay, I’ll say it. Adam Glory is terrifying. In a hot way, sure, but still terrifying.”

Agent J sighs.

“Please don’t start with that.”

Agent Y shrugs.

“What? I’m just saying—he rewrote a Parallax Echo like it was a bad first draft. That’s not normal.”

Agent I nods.

“Correct. His identity signature is no longer linear. It’s recursive. Self‑modifying. He is evolving."

Agent L‑1 rumbles:

“Evolving into what?”

Agent Y grins.

“That’s the million‑dollar question.”

🔥 PART II — AGENT I PRESENTS THE DATA

Agent I projects Adam’s energy signature above the table.

It spirals.

Loops.

Refines itself.

Adapts.

“This is not corruption.

This is not Parallax influence.

This is Adam Glory rewriting himself.”

Agent O frowns.

“Is that even possible?”

Agent I nods.

“Yes. But only for anomalies with extremely strong narrative cores.”

Agent Y smirks.

“So he’s basically a walking protagonist arc.”

Agent J mutters:

“Or a walking disaster arc.”

🔥 PART III — AGENT J RAISES THE WARNING

Agent J steps forward, arms crossed.

“Adam is dangerous. Not because he’s malicious. Because he’s unpredictable.”

Agent L‑2 nods.

“He does not follow patterns.”

Agent J continues:

“He doesn’t resist the Parallax.

He doesn’t fear it.

He doesn’t reject it.

He matches it.:

Agent K raises an eyebrow.

"You believe he is aligning with the Parallax?”

Agent J shakes her head.

“No.

I believe he is becoming something the Parallax didn’t plan for.”

Agent Y whistles.

“Oh that’s worse.”

🔥 PART IV — AGENT L‑1’S PERSPECTIVE

Agent L‑1 speaks, voice deep and steady.

“Adam Glory is strong. Stronger than any human we have encountered. Stronger than some entities.”

Agent L‑2 adds:

“He is not our enemy.”

Agent L‑1 nods.

“But he is not our ally either.”

Agent K turns to them.

“Explain.”

Agent L‑1 folds his arms.

“He follows his own path. His own story. If our goals align, he will help us. If they do not…”

Agent L‑2 finishes:

“He will not.”

Liger Llama, listening from the corner, squeaks:

“CAN WE NOT TALK ABOUT HIM LIKE HE’S A VOLCANO WITH LEGS?!”

Agent Y pats him on the head.

“He kinda is, though.”

🔥 PART V — AGENT O’S STRATEGIC ANALYSIS

Agent O brings up a tactical map.

“Adam’s growth trajectory is exponential. If he continues at this rate, he will surpass the Parallax in raw narrative force."

Agent I nods.

“Correct. But surpassing does not mean controlling.”

Agent O continues:

“If Adam becomes stronger than the Parallax, he may become the new narrative apex."

Liger screams:

“WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!”

Agent O answers calmly.

“It means he becomes the thing everything else revolves around."

Liger faints a little inside.

🔥 PART VI — AGENT K’S VERDICT

Agent K finally speaks.

“Adam Glory is not a threat.”

The room freezes.

Agent Y raises an eyebrow.

“Bold statement, boss.”

Agent K continues.

“He is not a threat… yet.

But he is a variable.

A powerful one.

A volatile one.”

Agent I nods.

“His trajectory is unpredictable.”

Agent J adds:

“And his choices will determine everything.”

Agent K concludes:

“We do not control Adam Glory.

We do not contain him.

We do not direct him.

”He looks at the team.“We observe him.”

Liger raises a hand weakly.

“And if he goes full cosmic supervillain?”

Agent Y grins.

“Then we run.”

Agent K shakes his head.

“No.

Then we intervene.”

The room goes silent.

Because everyone knows what that means.

Intervening against Adam Glory would be…

a WAR.🔥
