CHAPTER 5: πŸ¦™πŸ’₯ LIGER LLAMA: PANIC MODE ACTIVATED

By: Liger Llama
Date: June 5, 2026
Location: ORDER BLACKSITE β€” DIMENSIONAL LAB, SUBLEVEL 9

Liger Llama stands in the containment chamber, staring at the glowing Parallax Thread pulsing faintly in his chest.

He swallows hard.

Then harder.

Then harder.

And finally—

πŸ¦™πŸ’¬ LIGER LLAMA:

“Gulp. Can I just click my heels three times with my eyes closed and repeatedly say, ‘There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.’

This is a fever dream, right?

No?”

He opens one eye.

The Agents of Order stare back at him.

Not blinking.

Not smiling.

Not reassuring.

Just… staring.

πŸ”₯ PART I — THE AGENTS REACT

Agent Y bursts out laughing.

“Buddy, if this is a fever dream, it’s the kind where the NyQuil bottle starts talking to you.”

Agent I checks her scanner.

“Unfortunately, Liger, the Thread is still present. This is not a hallucination.”

Agent L‑1 rumbles:

“You are awake.”

Agent L‑2 adds:

“And compromised.”

Liger throws his hands up.

“Wow, thanks. Super comforting.”

Agent J leans against the wall, arms crossed.

“You’re handling this better than most people who find out they’re carrying a cosmic narrative parasite.”

Liger sputters.

“BETTER?! I’m one heel-click away from a full meltdown!”

πŸ”₯ PART II — AGENT K STEPS IN

Agent K approaches the chamber, calm as ever.

“Liger. You are not dreaming. You are not hallucinating. You are not in danger—yet.”

Liger’s eyes widen.

“YET?!”

Agent K continues, unfazed.

“The Parallax Thread is dormant. It cannot rewrite you unless you allow it to.”

Liger blinks.

“Allow it? Why would I allow it?!”

Agent K gestures to the hologram.

“Because it offers power. Certainty. Perfection.”

Liger shudders.

“Yeah, well, I’ll take imperfection with a side of panic attack, thanks.”

πŸ”₯ PART III — THE THREAD RESPONDS

The Thread pulses.

Once.

Twice.

Liger freezes.

“…Did it just react to my sarcasm?”

Agent I checks her readings.

“Yes. The Thread responds to emotional spikes. Humor, fear, frustration—anything that destabilizes your internal narrative.”

Liger throws his head back.

“Oh GREAT. I’m basically a walking ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ book and the villain has the pen!”

Agent Y cackles.“You’re killing me, Llama.”

Liger points at her.“YOU WANNA TRADE?!”

πŸ”₯ PART IV — THE REALITY CHECK

Agent K raises a hand.

“Liger. Focus.”

Liger inhales sharply.“

Right. Focus. No big deal. Just a cosmic thread inside me waiting for the perfect moment to rewrite my entire existence. Totally normal Tuesday.

”Agent O adjusts the stabilizers.

“We can dampen it. But you must remain emotionally stable.”

Liger stares at him.

“Emotionally stable?

Me?

Have you MET me?!”

Agent J mutters:

“He’s doomed.”

πŸ”₯ PART V — THE CHOICE RETURNS

Agent K steps closer.

“Liger. You asked if this was a dream. It is not. But you do have control.”

Liger looks up, hopeful.

“Control? Like… heel-clicking control?”

Agent K shakes his head.

“No. But you can choose how we proceed.”

He lists the options again, each one appearing as a glowing sigil on the chamber wall:

Dampen the Thread — Safe, stable, but leaves the Thread intact.

Force Thread Activation — Dangerous. Could destroy it… or empower it.

Use the Thread as Bait — Lure Parallax into a trap. High risk. High reward.

Attempt Removal — Extremely dangerous. Could destabilize Liger’s identity.

Liger stares at the options.

Then at the Agents.

Then at the glowing Thread.

Then back at the Agents.

πŸ¦™πŸ’¬ LIGER LLAMA:

“…Can I pick the option where I go home, make hot cocoa, and pretend none of this ever happened?”

Agent Y pats the glass.

“Nope.”

Liger sighs dramatically.

“Fine. FINE. Let’s… let’s pick something before this Thread decides to turn me into a motivational poster.”
