CHAPTER 7:đĄïž AGENTS OF ORDER: INTERROGATION LOG 91âΊ âTHE PARALLAX FRAGMENT SPEAKSâ
By: Agents of OrderDate: June 5, 2026
Location: ORDER BLACKSITE â CONTAINMENT VAULT, SUBLEVEL 10
The containment vault is colder than the rest of the Blacksite.
Not temperatureâcold.
Conceptually cold.
The kind of cold that happens when reality itself is being held in a chokehold.
At the center of the room floats the Parallax Fragment—a writhing knot of violet geometry, halfâformed, halfâalive, halfâfurious.
Liger Llama stands behind reinforced glass, still shaken but trying to look brave.
Agent K steps forward.
“Begin interrogation.”
đ„ PART I — THE FRAGMENT AWAKENS
The Parallax Fragment pulses.
A distorted voice echoes through the chamber.
“You think you have captured me.”
Agent Y taps the containment sphere with her baton.
“We didn’t think. We did.”
The Fragment spasms, glitching.
“You misunderstand. I am not a thing you capture. I am a story you interrupt.”
Agent I adjusts her visor.
“Fragment is stable. Hostile, but stable.”
Agent J circles the sphere like a shadow.
“Let’s see how long that lasts.”
đ„ PART II — THE QUESTIONS BEGIN
Agent K stands tall.
“Parallax Fragment. You abducted Liger Llama and Adam Glory. Why?”
The Fragment flickers.
“Because they are interesting.”
Agent Lâ1 growls.
“Clarify.”
The Fragment laughs—a sound like broken mirrors.
“They are narrative anomalies. Unfinished arcs. Potential rewritten futures. They are… delicious."
Liger yelps from behind the glass.
“HEY! I am NOT a snack!”
The Fragment turns toward him.
“You are a feast.”
Liger screams.
Agent Y cackles.
đ„ PART III — PUSHING HARDER
Agent K steps closer.
“What is your goal? What do you want with them?”
The Fragment’s voice deepens.
“To choose. To shape. To decide which version becomes real.”
Agent I’s visor flashes.
“It’s confirming our analysis. The Thread in Liger is a selection mechanism.”
Agent O frowns.
“And Adam?”
The Fragment pulses.
“Adam Glory is already rewriting himself. He is… compatible.”
Agent J stiffens.
“Compatible with what?”
The Fragment’s voice becomes a whisper.“
Ascension.”
đ„ PART IV — THE FRAGMENT SLIPS
Agent K narrows his eyes.
“What is your connection to Adam Glory?”
The Fragment flickers violently.
“He is not mine. He is… adjacent.”
Agent Y snorts.
“Adjacent? What is he, a cosmic neighbor?”
The Fragment ignores her.
“He is a story that refuses to be told. A paradox. A selfârewriting loop.”
Agent I mutters:
“That explains the lack of Thread. He’s doing it himself.”
Agent K continues.
“And Liger?”
The Fragment turns toward Liger again.
“He is the opposite. A story desperate to be told. A narrative begging for definition.”
Liger sputters.
“I AM NOT BEGGING!”
The Fragment pulses.
“You are.”
đ„ PART V — THE BREAKTHROUGH
Agent K changes tactics.“What is your true form? What are you?”
The Fragment hesitates.
Then:
“I am the echo of abandoned drafts.
The shadow of choices unmade.
The hunger of unrealized potential.”
Agent J whispers:
“It’s a multiversal editor.”
Agent I nods.
“A cosmic revision engine.”
Agent Y grins.
“A drama queen with god powers.”
The Fragment snarls.
“I am inevitability.”
Agent K shakes his head.
“No. You’re a fragment. And fragments can be broken.”
đ„ PART VI — THE FRAGMENT CRACKS
Agent K steps closer.
“Tell us how to remove the Thread from Liger.”
The Fragment spasms violently.
“No.”
Agent Lâ2 slams a fist into the floor.
“Answer.”
The Fragment shrieks.
“If you remove the Thread, he collapses. His identity fractures. He becomes… blank.”
Liger screams:
“WHAT?!”
Agent I confirms:
“He’s telling the truth. Removal is catastrophic.”
Agent K’s voice is calm.
“Then how do we neutralize it?”
The Fragment flickers.
“You don’t.”
Agent Y taps the sphere again.
“Try again.”
The Fragment hisses.
“You redirect it.”
Agent K leans in.
“Redirect it where?”
The Fragment whispers:
“To someone stronger.”
The room freezes.
Every Agent turns slowly toward the observation window.
Where Adam Glory stands.
Watching.
Smiling.
đ„ PART VII — THE FRAGMENT’S WARNING
The Fragment pulses one final time.
“He will come to me.
Or I will come to him.
Either way…
Adam Glory will choose.”
Agent K signals.
“Seal the fragment.”
Agent O activates the containment lock.
The Fragment collapses into a silent, glowing knot.
Interrogation complete.
