By: Adam Glory
Date: June 5, 2026
Location: ORDER BLACKSITE — OBSERVATION DECK, SUBLEVEL 10

The Parallax Fragment’s final words still hang in the air:

“Redirect it… to someone stronger.”

“Adam Glory will choose.”

And Adam Glory—who had been silently watching the interrogation from behind the reinforced glass—

smiled.

Not a friendly smile.

Not a villain’s smile.

A knowing smile.

The kind that says:

I already know the ending of this story.

Agent K turns to the team.

“Bring him in.”

Adam steps forward on his own.

No hesitation.

No fear.

No concern.

Just confidence.

The kind that makes every Agent tense.

🔥 PART I — THE ROOM SHIFTS

Adam enters the containment vault.

The Parallax Fragment pulses violently at his presence.

Liger Llama, still behind the glass, whispers:

“Oh no. Oh no no no. Why is it reacting to him like that? Why is HE reacting to IT like that?!”

Agent Y smirks.

“Because Adam Glory is a walking plot twist.”

Agent I’s visor flashes red.

“Dimensional resonance spike. Adam’s presence is destabilizing the Fragment.”

Agent K steps forward.

“Adam Glory. We need to talk.”

Adam folds his arms.

“Then talk.”

🔥 PART II — THE CONFRONTATION BEGINS

Agent K’s voice is steady.

“The Parallax Fragment claims you are ‘compatible.’ That you are rewriting yourself. That you are a conduit.”

Adam raises an eyebrow.

“And?”

Agent L‑1 growls.

“And that makes you dangerous.”

Adam smiles.

“I’ve always been dangerous.”

Agent J steps from the shadows.

“This is different. This is cosmic. You’re playing with forces that rewrite identity.”

Adam shrugs.

“Identity is a choice.”

Agent Y whistles.

“Oh he’s in full protagonist mode.”

🔥 PART III — THE PARALLAX RESPONDS

The Fragment pulses violently.

“He is the one who chooses.

He is the one who rewrites.

He is the one who ascends.”

Adam doesn’t even look at it.

“Quiet.”

The Fragment freezes.

Every Agent in the room goes still.

Agent I whispers:

“…It obeyed him.”

Agent O mutters:

“That’s not possible.”

Liger screams:“WHY DOES EVERYTHING OBEY HIM?!”

🔥 PART IV — THE TRUTH EMERGES

Agent K steps closer.

“Adam. What did the Parallax show you in the Vault?”

Adam’s eyes flicker—just for a moment—with violet light.

“Potential.”

Agent K presses.

“What kind of potential?”

Adam looks him dead in the eyes.

“The kind you can’t stop.”

Agent L‑2 steps forward.“You are compromised.”

Adam shakes his head.

“No. I’m aware.”

Agent I scans him again.

“No Thread. No anchor. No influence. He’s clean.”

Agent Y grins.

“He’s not infected. He’s just built different.”

🔥 PART V — THE REAL QUESTION

Agent K lowers his voice.

“Adam. Did you make a deal with the Parallax?”

Adam’s smile fades.

“No.”

Agent K narrows his eyes.

“But you’re considering it.”

Adam doesn’t answer.

He doesn’t need to.The silence is the answer.

Liger slams his hands against the glass.

“ADAM! DUDE! NO! You don’t make deals with extradimensional editors! That’s how you end up as a cautionary tale!”

Adam turns to him.

“Liger. I don’t need a deal. I don’t need a Thread. I don’t need a rewrite.”

He steps closer to the containment sphere.

“I write myself.”

The Fragment trembles.

“He is the author.”

Agent J whispers:“…Oh no.”

🔥 PART VI — THE CHOICE

Agent K steps between Adam and the Fragment.

“Adam Glory. You are at a crossroads. You can walk away from this. Or you can step into something you cannot control.”

Adam’s voice is calm.

“I’ve never controlled anything. I’ve just adapted.”

Agent K shakes his head.

“This is different. This is not adaptation. This is transformation.”

Adam smirks.

“Maybe that’s the point.”

Agent Y twirls her baton.

“Okay, I’m calling it. He’s either gonna save the multiverse or break it in half.”

Liger screams:

“WHY IS THAT EVEN AN OPTION?!”

🔥 PART VII — ADAM MAKES HIS MOVE

Adam steps closer to the containment sphere.

The Fragment pulses.

“Choose.”

Adam raises a hand.

Every Agent tenses.

Agent K shouts:

“ADAM—STOP!”

Adam pauses.

Looks at the Fragment.

Looks at the Agents.

Looks at Liger.

And says:

“I’m not choosing anything today.”

He lowers his hand. The Fragment screams in frustration.

Adam turns to leave.

“Let me know when you’re ready to stop being afraid of me.”

The door closes behind him.

Silence.

Heavy.

Uncomfortable.

Foreboding.

Agent K exhales.

“He didn’t choose.”

Agent I shakes her head.

“No. He delayed.”

Agent Y grins.

“And that’s worse.”

Liger collapses into a chair.

“I need a vacation. We were literally in Orlando before all this happened.”
