🎭 JINX JESTER: “YOU SHOULD’VE LET ME FALL.”

By: Jinx Jester
Date: June 1, 2026
Location: The Underlay — The Carnival Corridor Beneath the Kaseya Center

The camera flickers.

The walls breathe.

Neon paint drips upward instead of down, like gravity itself is afraid of her.

Jinx Jester sits cross‑legged on a crate, mask tilted, legs swinging like a child on a playground swing made of razor wire. Her fingers tap a rhythm on her knee — too fast, too sharp, too eager.

She hears Loki’s words.

She hears his pain.

She hears his anger.

And she smiles.

Not wide.

Not manic.

Not unhinged.

A small smile.

A dangerous one.

The kind she only uses when she’s telling the truth.

“Loki… Loki… Loki…”

She sings his name like a nursery rhyme.

“You talk so pretty when you’re hurt.

You talk so loud when you’re angry.

You talk so brave when you’re broken.”

She tilts her head.

“But you don’t talk honest.”

She leans forward, elbows on her knees.

“You say I betrayed you.

You say I fooled you.

You say I played you.”

A soft giggle.

“Sweetheart… I warned you.”

“You saw the paint. You saw the chaos. You saw the warning signs.”

She taps her mask.

“You saw this.

You saw me.

And you still stepped closer.”

She shrugs.

“That’s not betrayal, Loki.

That’s gravity.”

She stands, pacing in a tight circle, hands fluttering like butterflies made of knives.

“You think I didn’t feel something?

You think I didn’t enjoy the way you looked at me?

You think I didn’t like the way you tried to protect me?”

She stops.

Her voice softens.

“I did.”

A beat.

“But liking something doesn’t mean keeping it.”

“You wanted to save me.”

She laughs — not cruelly, but knowingly.

“You wanted to be the hero.

You wanted to be the one who tamed the Jester.

You wanted to be the boy who fixed the broken toy.”

She steps closer to the camera.

“But Loki…

I’m not broken.”

She taps her chest.

“I’m built this way.”

“You say you believed me.”

She nods slowly.

“I know.”

“You believed the trembling voice.

You believed the shaking hands.

You believed the tears.”

She wipes an imaginary tear from her mask.

“But Loki…

I wasn’t crying.”

She leans in.

“You were.”

“You want to know the real joke?”

She spreads her arms.

“You didn’t fall for me.

You fell for the version of me you hoped existed.”

She twirls.

“You fell for the girl who needed saving.

You fell for the girl who wanted you.

You fell for the girl who could love you back.”

She stops spinning.

Her voice drops to a whisper.

“That girl isn’t real.”

“But I am.”

She taps her mask again.

“I am chaos.

I am mischief.

I am the storm you thought you could kiss.”

She giggles.

“You kissed lightning, Loki.

And then you got mad when it burned.”

“You say you’re dangerous now.”

She claps her hands excitedly.

“GOOD!”

“You say you’re done playing nice.”

She nods rapidly.

“GOOD!”

“You say you’ve got nothing left to lose.”

She shivers with delight.

“OH, THAT’S THE BEST PART.”

She leans in so close the camera distorts.

“Because now you’re interesting.”

“But don’t get confused.”

She raises a finger.

“I didn’t hurt you because I hate you.”

Another finger.

“I didn’t hurt you because I wanted to.”

A third.

“I hurt you because you stepped into the circle without understanding the rules.”

She taps her temple.

“And in our world, Loki…

Pain is the price of admission.”

“You want revenge?”

She grins.

“Yay.”

“You want answers?”

She shrugs.

“Boring.”

“You want me?”

She laughs so hard she doubles over.

“Oh Loki…

You don’t want me.”

She straightens, mask gleaming.

“You want the idea of me.”

“But if you really want to chase the carnival…”

She steps backward into the swirling neon shadows.

“Then chase.”

“You want chaos?”

She gestures around her.

“We have plenty.”

“You want a fight?”

She cracks her knuckles.

“I love fights.”

“You want to hurt me?”

She tilts her head.

“Try.”

“But Loki…”

She pauses at the edge of the darkness.

Her voice softens again — dangerously soft.

“You should’ve let me fall.”

She disappears into the shadows.

A final whisper echoes through the corridor:

“Because now I want to see how far you can fall. Weeeeeeee!!!”

Her voice echoes.

"And always remember Loki.... If god is a woman god is a weaaaaaaaaaapon! HEE! HEE! HEE!"🎭
