đ SHADOW TRICKSTER: âTHE BOY WHO THOUGHT CHAOS LOVED HIMâ
By: The TricksterDate: June 1, 2026
Location: The Abandoned Funhouse, Deep Within the Data Abyss
The screen crackles.
The lights die.
A low, subâharmonic hum rolls through the darkness like a predator stretching before the kill.
Then—
A single jester mask appears in the void.
No color.
No smile.
Just shadow.
The Shadow Trickster steps forward, halfâformed, halfâreal, like a glitch deciding to take human shape. His voice is not loud. It doesn’t need to be. It slides into the air like a knife sliding between ribs.
“Loki Van Dam…”
He says the name like he’s tasting it.
“Little Loki.
Little lost boy.
Little heart beating so loud I could hear it from the rafters.”
He tilts his head.
“You thought you were the hero of a love story.
You thought you were the exception.
You thought you were the one who could tame the storm.”
A soft, humorless laugh.
“You thought wrong.”
He discards a playing card from his deck with Loki Van Dam’s face on it.
“Let me tell you a secret, Loki.”
He steps closer.
The shadows cling to him like worshippers.
“Chaos does not love.
Chaos does not heal.
Chaos does not choose.”
He taps his temple.
“Chaos consumes.”
He spreads his arms.
“And you?
You walked willingly into the lion’s mouth.”
“Jinx didn’t betray you.”
He raises a finger.
“No, no, no.
She tested you.”
He paces slowly, each step echoing like a heartbeat.
“She offered you a hand.
You grabbed it.
She offered you a smile.
You believed it.
She offered you a moment of weakness…”
He smirks.
“And you mistook it for affection.”
He leans in.
“Jinx Jester does not break.
She bends the world around her.”
“And Trickster Sister?”
He chuckles.
“Oh, she enjoyed every second of your confusion.
She enjoyed the way you looked at her sister.
She enjoyed the way you thought you mattered.”
He taps his mask as purposely smeers his facepaint.
“She slapped Jinx because she knew you’d run in.
She scratched you because she knew you’d stay.
He scratches himself.
She walked away because she knew you’d follow.”
He shrugs.
“You were never the target, Loki.
You were the lure... my lure.”
“Jake and Jack…”
He gestures into the darkness.
“The twins didn’t abandon the sisters.
They abandoned you.”
A pause.
“Because you were never part of the family.
You were never part of the circle.
You were never part of the joke.”
He tilts his head again.
“You were the setup. HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!”
“And then I arrived.”
The shadows pulse.
“When I stepped into the light…
When I clapped…
When I crowned my children anew…”
He smiles—slow, cold, inevitable.
“That was the punchline.”
He raises a hand, and the darkness behind him ripples like water.
“You were not betrayed, Loki.
You were baptized. You needed a bath anyway. You STINK! HEE HEE HEE!”
He shifts into a serious tone.
“You say you’re done playing nice.”
He nods.
“Good.”
He flips a card up.
“You say you’re dangerous now.”
A soft hum of approval.
“Better.”
He flips over another card. It's a reflection of himself.
“You say you have nothing left to lose.”
A grin like a wound opening. He tosses the whole deck of cards behind him.
“Perfect.”
He steps so close the screen distorts.
“Because men with nothing left to lose are the easiest to break.”
A temporal distortion makes him repeat himself.
“You want... revenge?”
He spreads his arms.
“Come find me.”
“You want answers?”
He taps his chest.
“I am the question... so many questions.”
“You want chaos?”
He laughs, low and resonant.
“I am the origin.”
He leans in, whispering:
“You want Jinx?”
A pause.
“You can’t have her. Mine.
Another temporal distortion.
"MINE.”
“But you can have this.”
He raises a single finger.
“A promise.”
The shadows swirl around him like a storm forming.
“When you step into our world again…
When you chase the carnival…
When you hunt the family…”
His voice drops to a whisper that feels like a prophecy.
“You will not find justice. Justice?
Temporal shift.
You will not find closure.
You will not find love.”
He smiles then scowls.
“You will find me... down the rabbit hole... the deepest... darkest parts!"
A white rabbit is seen going down a rabbit hole behind him.
“And Loki…”
He fades backward into the void.
“When I break you…
When I remake you…
When I turn your pain into something beautiful…”
A final whisper.
“You will thank me.”
The screen glitches.
The mask flickers.
The shadow dissolves.
