THE SOUL (Dialogue)

[The screen is split vertically.] On the left, Neo is standing in a pitch-black tunnel, illuminated only by a rhythmic, rotating yellow emergency light.

"They tell you to find your center. They tell you that the world is a level playing field. They lie."

[Left side] Neo begins a slow, dizzying shadow-boxing routine. Every time the yellow light hits him, he’s in a different wrestling stance.

[Right side] "When I look at the SWF Title, I don't see a prize. I see the top of a mountain that’s currently shaking. I see a horizon that won't stay still."

[Left side] The camera starts to rotate slowly in a clockwise circle, mimicking the feeling of losing one's balance.

[Right side] "There’s a vertigo in my soul, Raven. It’s the constant, sickening spinning of a destiny that’s been fractured into a million pieces."

[Left side] Neo stops moving. He stares directly into the lens. The yellow light stays fixed on his eyes.

[Right side] "You think the 'Ravenverse' is scary because it’s dark? Darkness is easy. You just wait for your eyes to adjust."

[Left side] Neo leans forward until his face blurs. The camera rotation accelerates.

[Right side] "But what do you do when the ground beneath your feet starts to tilt? What do you do when the 'Standard' starts to slide? You don't fight the spin..."

[Left side] The screen flashes to a white-hot light. "...you become the center of it."

THE AFTERMATH

​[The split-screen collapses into a single shot.]

​Neo is sitting on the floor of the tunnel, perfectly still while the room around him seems to continue spinning. In the background, we hear the muffled sound of Prime Time David Daniels' country guitar echoing through the vents from the arena above.

​Neo Vaughn: (Whispering)

"Watch the shimmer. Breathe in the shadow. But remember... gravity eventually wins."

​[The screen cuts to a spiraling graphic of the SWF logo.]
